Terms of Service

Version 12 · Effective 24 July 2026

NeetFlash is a brand and trading name of Suravija Technologies Private Limited.

NeetFlash is a brand and trading name of Suravija Technologies Private Limited ("Suravija", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in India. Suravija Technologies Private Limited develops, owns, and operates the NeetFlash app. Throughout these Terms, references to "NeetFlash", "we", "us", or "our" mean Suravija Technologies Private Limited.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using NeetFlash, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

NeetFlash is a flashcard-based study app for NEET (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) exam preparation. It sits alongside your coaching and self-study as a short, daily session that locks in what you have already learned. The app provides:

3. Eligibility and Age Requirements

4. User Accounts

5. Free, Paid, and AI Credits

The exact free-tier limits, AI-credit allowances, and premium pricing shown in the app at the time of your purchase are authoritative; the figures below summarise the current position for reference. We may adjust these from time to time - any change is reflected in the app before you subscribe or buy.

Free Tier (current limits)

Premium (Paid)

AI Credits

The app's AI features run on AI credits rather than a fixed daily count, because each use carries a real underlying processing cost. Where enabled, this currently covers the AI Coach, the AI Tutor, and semantic search.

6. Subscriptions, Auto-Renewal, and Cancellation

7. Refund Policy

8. Content and Accuracy

Our commitment. Accuracy is the single most important promise we make to you. A flashcard you trust on practice day has to be correct on exam day - so we have built our content pipeline around that principle, not around volume.

The effort behind each card. Every flashcard goes through a multi-stage pipeline before it is shown to a student:

What this does not promise. Despite this effort, no AI-assisted content pipeline can be perfect. Therefore:

9. Acceptable Use

You must not:

10. Parent Portal and School Licences

Parent Portal

School and Institution Licences

If you are under 18, the DPDP Act, 2023 requires us to obtain verifiable consent from your parent or legal guardian before we process your personal data. NeetFlash supports two paths to obtain that consent.

Path A - Student-led (the default for new signups)

  1. Sign up. When you create an account, we ask for your parent's mobile number on the final onboarding step. It is required. We no longer ask you for your parent's email address — we do not need it, so we do not collect it.
  2. Your parent approves you inside the app. Your parent signs in to NeetFlash with that mobile number. We send a six-digit code to the number by SMS, exactly as we do when you sign in — signing in successfully is what proves the number belongs to them. They then see your name on their home screen and approve you with one tap. That tap is the consent.
  3. We never link an account automatically. Giving us a mobile number does not link anything. The link is created only when the person holding that number signs in and taps approve. This protects you if you mistype a digit, and it protects a stranger from being handed access to your progress data.
  4. If your parent does not recognise you. Anyone who signs in and sees a name they do not know can tap "Not my child". That dismisses the request permanently. It does not delete your account and it does not approve or decline consent — your account keeps full access and the consent requirement simply stays open.
  5. Full access throughout. You have full access to all NeetFlash features while we await your parent's response. There is no restriction on your account for non-response.
  6. If you entered the wrong number. Contact the support team via the in-app email link; we will correct it after verifying your account. Alternatively, use Path B below.

Push and in-app notifications are a best-effort reminder: they reach you only if the app is installed and you have allowed notifications.

Path B - Parent-led (the invite-code path)

A parent who has already created their own NeetFlash account can generate an invite code from the Parent Portal and share it with you. Entering that code in your account links the two and records the parent's consent. This path exists for families who share a single mobile handset, or where the number you entered does not reach your parent. The parental consent requirement is satisfied immediately when an invite code has been redeemed — your account is consented from the moment of linking.

Withdrawal and lawful basis

Parental consent is the lawful basis under the DPDP Act for our processing of your personal data while you are under 18. Your parent may withdraw consent at any time by contacting our Grievance Officer (Section 20); we will treat the account as read-only and process deletion in line with our Privacy Policy.

12. Intellectual Property

Past Year Questions

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NeetFlash, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the app, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

15. Limitation of Liability

16. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

What termination means. Termination is a lock, not an immediate deletion. When we terminate your account, your access to the app is disabled immediately and entirely - you cannot use any feature, including the free tier. Your data is retained for 30 days from the date of termination. During that 30-day window you may request a copy of your data by contacting us. After 30 days, the account and all associated data are permanently deleted.

This is different from deleting your account yourself (Settings → Delete Account) and from a parent actively declining consent (Section 11), both of which delete your data immediately rather than after a 30-day lock.

Closure of inactive accounts. To keep accounts secure and to minimise the personal data we hold, we close any account - including student, parent, and school-administrator accounts - that has not been used for over 12 months. If your account (login and activity) has been inactive for more than 12 months, we will contact you - and your linked parent, if any - asking you to log back in to keep it, followed by a final reminder about a month later. If the account remains unused, it and all associated data are permanently deleted. Logging in at any point keeps your account and resets the inactivity period. Internal staff and administrator accounts are exempt from this automated closure. See Section 9 ("Data Retention") of the Privacy Policy for details.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes - especially those affecting your data processing rights - we will seek your fresh consent through the app before the changes take effect. For non-material changes, continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

18. Dispute Resolution

19. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

20. Grievance Officer
